Once you've entered the palace and gone through security you just need to have your pass scanned at one of the front desks, then you'll be given a printed ticket to use for all the standard exhibitions.
The palace may be closed occasionally due to official receptions.

How you have your pass scanned will depend on the type you have purchased:
Essentials Pass holders: to activate your pass and redeem this offer, you need to visit a kiosk to pick up your 24-hour hop-on hop-off ticket.
All-Inclusive Pass holders: with this pass, there’s no need to visit the kiosk beforehand, you can just scan when boarding for as long as your pass is valid for.
Wondering when the next bus is coming?
Follow live bus updates for the GREEN hop-on, hop-off buses and RED City Sightseeing buses with their live map. The arrows on the map show you the color of the bus that is coming. Be aware: there is another similar, red-colored bus labelled ”Stockholm RED Buses” which is not included with your pass. Look for the 'Free tours with the Go Stockholm Pass' sign marked on the bus.
