Head straight to the turnstile for San Diego Zoo entry. An ID will be required when using a pass at San Diego Zoo. The last name of the purchaser must match the name on ID.

Giant Panda Timed Ticket

Make the most of your Saturday and Sunday by securing a complimentary Giant Panda Timed Ticket when you arrive at the Zoo. Simply scan the ticket QR code on the sign at the main entrance of the Zoo, select an available time, and head to the Timed Ticket line at Denny Sanford Panda Ridge at your designated time. You may also seek assistance with timed tickets at any Admissions Booth.

Timed tickets are only available on Saturdays and Sundays and on a first-come, first-served basis until the daily limit is reached. These tickets are complimentary.

    When you go through the security, present your pass at the ticket booth 11/12, farthest to the right, to redeem your pass in exchange for a general admission ticket.

    Chaperone policy:

    Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order to be admitted to or remain in the park after 4PM local time to close. 

    The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay. 

    Guests 16 years of age or older may be asked to present a valid government issued photo identification (Driver’s license, State Issued ID Card, Passport) with date of birth at entry to verify their age. If unable to verify proof of age, guests may be denied entry into the park.

    Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Knott's Berry Farm and Soak City Waterpark ticket and season passholders.

    Chaperone policy:
