The Paddan Tour

Getting in

Collect your ticket from Stromma's Paddan ticket kiosk on the departure quay as early as possible. Show your Stromma ticket to the staff during the boarding process that starts around 10 minutes before scheduled departure.

Top tip: during high season (July-August) it is a good idea to collect your sightseeing tour ticket early the same day from the outdoor sales staff at one of the locations below to avoid your desired tour being fully booked. 

Outdoor sales staff can be found between July 5 - August 11 at the following locations:

Stora Teatern: 09:30AM - 4:45PM (lunch break 12:30PM – 1:00PM)

Kungsportsplatsen: 10:30AM - 5:00PM (lunch break 12:00PM – 12:30PM)

When is the best time to kayak Gothenburg’s waterways? During summer is when the temperatures are most comfortable and days stay lighter longer. This seasonal attraction runs daily from May through September..

Can anyone rent a kayak? The kayaks are suitable for most people, with models available for everyone from beginners to the most experienced. You’ll need to be moderately fit to handle the boat and paddle.

Can I bring my kids? Children are allowed but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and all participants should be competent swimmers.

What should I wear? Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting wet! Life jackets are provided on the jetty. 

Getting in

Check in with your pass at Plums, where staff will arrange your kayak and assist with life jackets and paddles.

Please note

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and all participants must be able to swim.
